G4G Twin Cities + Ronald McDonald House

ABOUT: Every day, Cooks for Kids (CFK) volunteer groups purchase, prepare and serve meals at the four Twin Cities Ronald McDonald House locations. CFK offers groups an enjoyable and satisfying way to support families dealing with a child’s serious illness, injury or disability.

Gay for Good Twin Cities will be providing a Saturday Brunch for 40-60 people at Ronald McDonald House at Oak St.  allowing families to spend precious time together as well as the opportunity to connect with other families in similar situations.

• We will arrive at 9am to begin preparing their meal. Meal items/ingredients will be provided  and available on-site. Please note all food items MUST be prepared on-site.
• Brunch is served from 11am – 12pm
• CFK groups are asked to clean the kitchen, load the dishwasher, put away leftovers, etc. Please plan to stay and assist with clean-up. This typically takes about 30 minutes after the meal is over.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We need 10-15 volunteers to prepare and serve brunch.  Kids are welcome, ages 14-17 and must be accompanied by an adult.
