G4G Raleigh-Durham + Wildwoods Community Farm

Join us as we partner for the first time with Wildwoods Community Farm, located in Chapel Hill, near the Hillsboro border.

Wildwoods Community Farm is a gathering place for connecting to the land, fostering friendships with neighbors, and a source for natural, fresh food. Located on 4 acres in Chapel Hill, NC the space is a community farm, botanical garden, and animal sanctuary with opportunities to live and work on the farm during the growing season in farm apprentice programs. The farm also offers in-depth learning through internships, farm classes, woofing* and more! *woofing: the linking of organic farmers to promote educational exchange and to build a global community conscious of ecological farming practices.

Our duties will include spreading mulch and fence repair and painting. Further details will be provided by the G4G project leader as we get closer to the project date.
