     July 13, 2019
     9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us as we partner with the Piedmont Wildlife Center for the first time on Saturday, July 13, from 9 AM-Noon. Our duties may include cleaning and maintaining bird-of-prey enclosures, mulching trails, building fences and other maintenance items. We will also get a tour of the facility and a chance to meet some of the resident “ambassadors”.

The Piedmont Wildlife Center, a non-profit organization founded in 2003, is located at 364 Leigh Farm Road in Durham. Their mission is to inspire people to develop a positive lifelong connection with nature & to encourage active engagement in conservation. They accomplish this mission through a community oriented approach to nature education, leadership development and conservation science.  For more information on the center, please click here: Piedmont Wildlife Center

This is a family-friendly project; children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. After the project is completed, we can grab lunch somewhere nearby. Shortly before the project date, the G4G/ReachOUT project leadrer will contact you with further details.
