G4G Raleigh-Durham + Note In The Pocket (Postponed until August 8)

We are s-l-o-w-l-y returning to in-person volunteer projects with one of our favorite organizations! Join us on August 8 when we will help Note In The Pocket sort and prepare for distribution donated clothing to children in need living in Wake County.

The folks at Note have prepared rather detailed guidelines for volunteers to follow to keep everyone safe during the current COVID-19 situation. They are temporarily using a large, warehouse-like space to ensure their volunteers can maintain proper physical distancing. The guidelines can be found here: Note in pocket COVID guidelines. Please make sure you read the ones related to volunteering carefully.

When: Saturday, August 8, 9:00-11:00 AM

Where: 2721 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh NC

More details: Due to the current conditions, this project is limited to only 12 volunteers . Volunteers must be age 18 or over.  Also due the current situation, we will NOT be formally going out as a group for lunch afterwards The G4G project leader will be providing more information as we get closer to the project date.

Note In The Pocket was our first project this year, so it is so appropriate that they should be our first project for our restart!  We look forward to having you join us as we return to doing one of the things we love, volunteering!
