G4G Raleigh-Durham + Book Harvest

Join us when we volunteer for the first time at Durham’s Book Harvest, an organization that provides an abundance of books and ongoing literacy support to families and their children from birth and serves as a model for communities committed to ensuring that children are lifelong readers and learners.

When:  Saturday, August 28, 9:00 AM – Noon

Where: 2501 University Drive, Durham NC

Duties: Sorting and categorizing donated books for distribution to kids.

After our shift is over, we can grab lunch somewhere nearby. The G4G team leader will email you as the project date draws near.  This project is open to those 16 years old and above. Folks under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
