G4G Palm Springs + Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast | May 11, 2023

Join Gay For Good Palm Springs to volunteer with the Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast Coalition. There are two volunteer shifts available. Shift one volunteers will assist with greeting guests, helping them to find their seats, and offering guidance to guests who ask about the coffee and breakfast service. Shift two volunteers will start at 11:00am and will assist with packing up supplies and returning them to storage. All volunteers will need to be able to carry boxes, load supplies, and be able to walk the large convention center space.

Shift 1: 7:30am – 1:00pm

Shift 2: 11:00am – 1:00pm

Age Restriction: None, if under 18, guardian signature required.

Additional Details: Please dress in comfortable work clothes and shoes. Please bring water and a lunch. Parking is available onsite.

About our Partner: Harvey Milk Day presents an opportunity to educate youth about an extraordinary leader whose courageous work to ending discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in the 1970s set the stage for many of the civil rights advances seen today that benefit all Californians. Funds raised support Coachella Valley LGBTQ youth programs.
