G4G OC/LONG BEACH + BARTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

It’s on again. After being rained out last month, we are excited to announce the rescheduled date for our service project with Long Beach Unified School District’s Barton Elementary School to help restore their outdoor native garden.

Grab a pair of gloves, some gardening tools, a hat, water and sunscreen and join us for take two!

We will be provided with trash bags, potting soil, a few plants, a dumpster, several small hand held shovels and a flatbed to move heavier items.

We are seeking donations of drought resistant native So Cal plants and garden art to help beautify the space.

If you have access to any of the following items, please label them and bring them along:
Weeding tools
Large Shovels
Rakes
Edging/Trimming tools
