Join G4G New York City as We Assist Riders at Braking AIDS
Be a part of this awesome collaboration with our neighboring chapter in Philadelphia as both chapters volunteer to assist riders at the Braking AIDS Ride. The ride starts in Philadelphia and riders will travel all the way to New York City!
Volunteers in NYC will be helping at the end of the ride and facilitating a party with roles including but not limited to: set up, bike parking, gear security, etc.
Date: Sunday, September 15, 2024
Multiple Shifts:
Shift 1: 2pm – 5pm (10 Volunteer Slots)
Shift 2: 5pm – 8pm (10 Volunteer Slots)
Location: Riverbank State Park
Ages: 21+
Project Lead: Kaylin (she/her)
What To Wear/Bring: Casual dress that you don’t mind getting potentially dirty with closed toe shoes.
About Our Partners: Braking AIDS supports the mission of Housing Works which is the largest grassroots AIDS organization in the U.S. Their mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through relentless advocacy, the provision of lifesaving services, and entrepreneurial businesses that sustain our efforts.
