Help G4G LA Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Harvey Milk Day LA!

Yes, a lot is different this year, but G4G is again partnering with the LA Mayor’s Office to celebrate Harvey Milk Day, and support families in need with a special project. Launched 10 years ago, our chapter is again participating in this state holiday in honor of the first openly LGBTQ politician in the world, who died tragically from gun violence while serving in San Francisco. But his legacy lives with annual projects on or close to his birthday every year. All supplies to be dropped off, with safe distancing, at the Van Nuys City Hall, with all details below.   Your support will make all the difference!

Safe Drop-Off Hours:  Saturday, May 23, 10am – 4pm (donation safe drop off hours)

Safe Drop-Off Location:  Van Nuys City Hall, 14410 Sylvan St. Van Nuys, CA 91401

Gay For Good and the LA Mayor’s office are teaming up to provide supplies and donations for Khalsa Care Foundation, which serves families in need in the San Fernando Valley. They have seen a dramatic increase in demand for all basic necessities, but this list especially, so please choose any or all, and drop-off safely at Van Nuys City Hall address. Here are the donations needed to choose from:

• Cases or flats of water
• Pasta
• Rice
• Small bags of chips/cookies
