G4G Denver & Denver Botanic Gardens team up for Día De Los Muertos event prep!

Get crafty and messy at Denver’s most beautiful gardens! We are teaming up with the Denver Botanic Gardens for a festive fall project prepping for their end-of-month events. If you’ve never been to the gardens you are in for a treat.

Denver Botanic Gardens‘ mission is to connect people with plants, especially plants from the Rocky Mountain region and similar regions around the world, providing delight and enlightenment to everyone. They are guided by the four core values of transformation, relevance, diversity and sustainability.

Date: Saturday, October 15
Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Freyer-Newman Center (Classrooms 1 & 3) – 1085 York St, Denver, CO 80206

Project tasks: Volunteers will help with crafting for the annual Día de los Muertos festival that include but not limited to:

• Painting
• Moving items
• Lifting/hanging as needed

Age restrictions: 13+

We will be painting/crafting and may be outdoors for a portion of this project. Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting paint on!
