Craft for a Cause

Join Gay For Good DC as we Craft for a Cause with our new partner, Only Make Believe! Unleash your creativity to create costumes for children in hospitals, care facilities, and schools dedicated to serving children with disabilities. Everything that we create will be used to help children escape into the world of ‘make believe’ during one of Only Make Believe’s upcoming performances across the DMV.

Additional Information:

• Please wear comfortable clothing. All materials you will use are washable, but the fabric glue can get messy.
• Water and restrooms are available in the building
• Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

We also hope that you will join us for lunch after the event! Attendance is fully optional and attendees will be responsible for their own food and beverage costs. Full details will be announced via email closer to the event date.

Inspiring joy and imagination, OMB’s professional actors engage children with medically fragile conditions and developmental disabilities, fostering social and emotional growth.

Their programming empowers children to explore their imagination, engage in critical thinking, and discover the fun-filled experience of expressing emotions through interactive theatre.
