G4G DC + Food & Friends

WHAT: Join G4G – DC as we volunteer with Food & Friends to help prepare and package food for people with serious illnesses that limit their ability to nourish themselves.  We will be working together in a group and our duties may include peeling, dicing, portioning, sorting, bagging, or labeling. We have a total of 10 volunteer spots available for this activity, and it will be another exciting opportunity to make new friends while engaging with the local community.

WHEN: Saturday, July 27 (9 AM – 12 PM)

WHERE: 219 Riggs Rd NE, Washington, DC 20011

NEAREST METRO STATION: There is free parking at the facility. The nearest metro station is Fort Totten (Green, Yellow and Red). Please call the Food & Friends shuttle to take you to and from the Fort Totten Metro Station at (202) 669-6437.
