Hello Gay for Gooders! Working with animals two months in a row?
A dream come true? We thought so too! Come help us complete special projects or tasks that enables Columbus Humane to provide care and services beyond the every day. Because of safety and liability issues involved, one-time group volunteers will not be working directly with our resident animals. But not to worry they’ll bring animals around during activities and there is plenty of time at the end to visit with all of the animals in house.

While we are there, we may be rotating through multiple stations where we may be doing all or some of the following: reading to the dogs or cats, putting together adoption packets, making enrichment toys, helping us get ready for training classes, doing light cleaning or landscaping. Because of the dynamic nature of their work, they cannot be certain of what we will be doing until much closer to our volunteering date. Either way…we get to see these lovely faces and give back. And we will more than likely follow up with some dinner afterwards. So pack up your Sara Mcloughlin feels and get here!
