Join Us as We Partner With Care for Real to Help Distribute Food to Those in Need

Volunteers will be assisting with outdoor food distribution. You may be packing carts of food, bringing food outside to clients, packing bags, or stocking shelves.

Time: 8:30am – 1:15pm

Location: 5339 N Sheridan, Chicago, IL 60640

IMPT: After registering with Gay for Good you must additionally register with our partner. Details will be sent in your confirmation email after registering with Gay for Good.

Ages: 18+

Project Lead: Kevin (he/him)

Transportation/Parking: 147 or 151 bus stops right out front, CTA Red Line stops are a few minutes walk away. No parking available on site.

What To Wear/Bring: Wear comfortable clothing that you can bend and lift in, and closed-toe shoes. Bring a jacket if necessary, as we will be volunteering both indoors and outdoors. Feel free to bring water or coffee and any snacks you may like. A volunteer fridge is available with limited space.
