G4G Boston + The AIDS Walk & Run | October 2

When: Sunday, October 2, 7:30am – 11:00am

Where:  DCR’s Carson Beach in South Boston

About the AIDS Walk: The mission of AIDS Walk & Run Boston is to support the lifesaving HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention services of AIDS Action/Fenway Health as well as to raise funds to support critical client services such as legal and housing, among others.

Gay for Good will be volunteering as course marshals guiding walker and runners along the route and keeping them motivated and safe from traffic.

In addition to registering with Gay for Good, all volunteers need to also complete theis process:

1. Register at with the AIDS Walk here (Gay for Good Boston has a team set up for folks to join!)
2. Select Volunteer (not participant, so there is no entry fee) and  then on the volunteer selection page pick “Course Marshall.”
3. Volunteers are not required to fundraise to volunteer, but are more than welcome to share with their networks to support the important mission of AIDS Action.

It’s going to be a great day, plus if history holds, we’ll get great t-shirts to wear that say “Obey Me” which… amazing. (If you volunteered in a previous year, it’s also a great opportunity to wear your “Obey Me” shirt.)
