Where:  DCR’s Carson Beach in South Boston

About Strides for Action:  Strides for Action (formerly the Boston AIDS 5k) is a walk/run to support the lifesaving HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention services of AIDS Action/Fenway Health as well as to raise funds to support critical client services such as legal and housing, among others.

Gay for Good will be volunteering as course marshals guiding walker and runners along the route and keeping them motivated and safe from traffic.

In addition to registering with Gay for Good, all volunteers need to also complete this process:

  1. Register at with the AIDS Walk here (Gay for Good Boston has a team set up for folks to join!)
  2. Select Volunteer (not participant, so there is no entry fee) and  then on the volunteer selection page pick “Course Marshall.”
  3. Volunteers are not required to fundraise to volunteer, but are more than welcome to share with their networks to support the important mission of AIDS Action.
